We went to see Brianna's pedi this morning for her one month appointment. I have to say, I was really looking forward to this appointment for a few reasons... At her two week appointment, we couldn't get an accurate weight as she was in a pavlik harness for her hip. Also, she has been having problems with her reflux lately and I was anxious to get her meds adjusted correctly.I am happy to say, Brianna is growing perfectly! This morning she weighed 9lbs 10oz. She was at the 50th percentile for weight and head circ. at birth and five weeks later is right on track... still right in the middle at 50th percentile! Her length is another thing! While we couldn't get an accurate length because of her hip problem, she is tall -definitely taking after her daddy!
All our tummy time has been paying off too! The pedi was very impressed with her ability to hold up her head and look to both sides. Beyond a new bout of baby acne (which made its appearance just in time for Christmas) and her little hip problem, our little girl couldn't be doing better!
Next pedi appointment... 2 month appointment with shots :(
